The challenge of tracking vehicle details and driver behavior

Before our solution, ALL Locação used spreadsheets to track its fleet data. In other words, it was a manual process that took a lot of time.

In addition to filling out spreadsheets, the company needed to control and track maintenance costs, driver rankings, and monitor drivers’ driving behavior.

The main result was a reduction in accident risk events per kilometer driven.

To put this into context, km/event or km driven/event is a performance metric used in fleet management to assess the safety and efficiency of operations.

It is calculated by dividing the total number of kilometers driven by the number of identified risk events. These events may include speeding, sudden braking, and cell phone use while driving, among others.

The greater the number of kilometers driven without incidents, the better the performance and the higher the safety of the operation.

From December 2023 to February 2024, ALL Locações saw a 22.91% reduction in risky behaviors per kilometer driven.
